Project:Drupal Dojo 2.0
Component:Video production
Category:feature request
Priority:normal
Assigned:Unassigned
Status:closed
Description

Moved from the drupaldojo.org planning book. Original author is dmirig01.

Once it is detected that the presenter is beginning the lesson over VNC, some sort of recording solution will automatically start.
It will go on until it's detected that the presenter is disconnected from VNC, at which point the video is transcoded and uploaded to drupaldojo.com, to the lesson node (it is automatically detected which one), in a couple of formats (some sort of flash video, mov, mp4, ogg, avi).

Something that we could use help on (skills and money) would be an inline simple flash video editor - adding titles, links, and removing parts.

Of course, this would just be backup, people are recommended to record their own
