Hierarchical Submit Category

A wonderful module, thank you for your time and great contribution!

Would it be possible some day to add categories in the same way as we add content, by using a hierarchical category submit form rather than the standard admin one? This would be useful for large classification indexes having more than 2000 categories. Or for a project that strives to formally categorize human knowledge, i.e., to create an open classification index to be used by libraries and all in need of a freely distributed scientific classification.
