Issue Summary
I've mentioned a few things around my other posts relating to this, but since realised there's not actually an issue to cater for this as a whole.
I propose the following contents (apropos some of the other suggestions meeting official approval):
- lesson times, dates
- teacher (with link to profile)
- lesson overview, with keyword field (taxonomy?) for general area of interest (module development, administration, sysadmin, theming, etc)
- difficulty level (fivestar/voting api)
- inline list of bookmarks (see here)
- inline list of code pastes, or link to latest related paste (see here)
- links to audio/video/irc/skype/wtf - no more junk irc traffic
- link to Q&A area (see here)
- adverts, if we have to do that :P

7 - maybe someone could moderate IRC during lessons. Also, not all lessons will have skype/irc

The skype/whatever link is something that isn't "required" but there needs to be provision for this.
re your 2), I thought the idea was that we would be using unified formats for everything?
Surely we can just bite the bullet and say "ogg and mp3" and be done with it? Off topic...
