Sometimes when submitting a scoop, I forget to select a category. Even after selecting the category, or fixing any other validation issue that was flagged with the red highlight, I cannot submit the scoop without refreshing the page or hitting the back button on the browser.

Hi,

As explained in the documentation, you really need to make "section" a required field.

Making the category a required field makes the problem impossible to replicate. Is that correct?

Nevermind, from another user's report:

"What happens is that if you forget to add a tag and you hit preview or submit, it warns you that tags are required and the tag box is highlighted in red. Then if you enter tags, it "thinks" but never validates your entry."

It's a Javascript problem. Looking into this now...

I haven't been able to test yet because when I updated to 5.x-1.5 the category and tag text boxes disappeared on the Submit Scoop page. It fixed some other issues with the vote button though :)

Hi,

If that happens, you need to go to

Admin -> Categories, and make sure that both categories are associated with "Scoop"
