There is some kind of interrupt contention between fivestar and panels2. A full cck node
inside a panel page with a 5star widget flickers when focus is on the widget. Seems some
other javascript event is competing, but I haven't been able to track it down. Works fine
outside of panels in the same config, same cck node, etc.

captcha commentedNot sure if this helps, but it worked for me.
Try giving a fixed width in CSS to the fivestar form widget, the flicker/jitter I was experiencing stopped. Most likely, caused by the dynamic text appearing below the stars.

yched commentedI'm seeing this flickering too. Unfortunately, the 'fixed with' trick didn't work for me.
The bug disappears when disabling Panels2.
Doesn't look like a JS conflict though. With Panels2 on, I still get the behaviour after moving panels's js files out of the way.
Looks more like a css/positioning conflict. The stars are there, but hovering positions them somewhere else, and this you get the hover in / hover out flicker.
Moving panels.css out of the way seems to fix it. Still investigating.

It's a css conflict. Patch for Panels2 provided in http://drupal.org/node/206882#comment-686419
Thus marking that one duplicate

captcha commentedWanted to mention that I am not using panels, I was getting the flicker effect without CCK or Panels, just thought you could try what worked for us.
