I'm going crazy with this.....
Just an easy task; you have a multilingual system but only one field (cck or not) have to be translated. So you can't use i18n in its normal behaviour cause it doesn't make sense to duplicate a node just because you have a text field in more than one language.
So you go everywhere in the net to find a way to translate this field text but you could'n find it.
Then you'll realize that there's an experimental feature in the module you ever used (i18n...)called cck-translatable-text. You think you founded the answer.
So you create your field , add in your content type, then go to the insert node section.
Yeah, you see this field but... what to do with?
I didn't even find a word to explain how it works in the whole internet, so...
Does anyone know what is made for, how to use cck translatable-text experimental feature?
Thanks,
Da.

jose reyero commentedThat module was just an experiment, not supported anymore for 5.x

polmaresma commentedIn those cases I use to create duplicated cck fields for each language and with a simple snippet modify the template to show the ones that corresponds with the locale.
good luck
