Perhaps instead of Support for node relativity support for views would be a much better, and globally useful, function, since it is possible to write views that can replicate the functionality of hard coded support for a module like node relativity. It would also support the node hierarchy module.
Today I can populate the node reference list from a view, but then the user needs to select all the nodes in the list. With views support one could say "show me all nodes of type xx whoose parent is me on the map", and the user wouldn't have to select nodes at all.
And then the rest of us could use a wizard, node relativity, node hierarchy or other means of making the user experience very nice.
I put this at critical, as this is the most important issue to me, the rest I've posted will just be icing on the cake ;)
