Hi
I need your kind assistance to build a drupal theme from png/psd layout. I got a video tutorial from http://drupal.org/node/136506 here but this tutorial is not working properly. Its not clear to see. I guess somehow its corrupted. Could anyone please give me any demo like that. Its will enhance my learning speed.

i don't know how but i think if u modify existing themes, it would be faster. u can change pictures 'n style.

after change ur PSD to html :

look the first thing to know that is not easy work to change certain theme to another theme.however,u can easily begin from two main themes ZEN and GARLAND and i think if ur theme is simple try to begin with GARLAND.

now lets speak about the strategy to begin that work :
first thing is to know that the xhtml theme is contain from two main things: markup tags (which tell the browser what is the content that u have ) and CSS (which tell the browser how to display that content or markup tags).

now our work is to look at the page.tpl.php(garland or zen ) and the html theme (markup tags for ur theme) and try to make the html theme markup as same as the page.tpl.php. USE THE SAME IDS AND CLASSES FOR PAGE.TPL.PHP.

then change the classes and ids for ur CSS theme and delete the css for garland and insert ur new css (( do not forget to change the name of ur new css by style.css)).

if u need more help do not hesitate to ask .....

I well try to make some themes thats supports the Arabic language (RTL)
and I have a question for you ..
Is there any Arabic site supports drupal ?
If there is no site >>
why not we start building an official support site for drupal
specially that drupal 6 will come with rtl support in the core
and it is very good chance to start
note: I am very new with drupal ( some days)
