I vote that there be a module, or feature on drupal.org that allows me to 'subscribe' to a thread. Too often do I not have anything to say but would like to follow a conversation. I don't want to post something like "just following this thread" all the time, nor do I tend to follow it from a bookmark as I would hope to do. I think it would be nice if the user profile kept track of 'bookmarked' posts, or subscribed posts, whatever.

I'd be happy if the bookmark module was used on this site.

But I completely agree with you.

Yes, it would be a nice addition to Drupal.org if one could 'bookmark' posts for tracking. The 'my recent' posts only tracks threads that a user begins or replies to. I have dozens of posts bookmarked in my browser at home and work and it is mighty difficult to keep track.

I agree.
(in other words I'm adding this thread to my recent :)

Robert Douglas is working on the subscription module. As soon it is ready, we'll enable it on drupal.org. If you want to help, you can check out the latest version of the module in Robert's sandbox. You can either review the module, suggest improvements/changes, or provide patches.

Hi Dries,

Is this going to be implemented on drupal.org soon? Would really be easier to keep track of threads I'm interested in. Thanks. :)
