sharique commentedI think it is critical bug, because module become unusable.

paulbeaney commentedHi,
Are you definitely on the very latest version of the module? I did a few updates quite close together so might you have missed one? I haven't got anyone else reporting a problem at the moment.
What version of Drupal are you on? Is phpList working ok on its own?

- Paul

paulbeaney commentedHi Sharique,
I have been able to reproduce the problem and I have just uploaded a fix. However, I have downgraded this bug report to a 'normal' as it is perfectly possible to synchronise, subscribe/unsubscribe to lists with the module even without that menu link. The key things are the admin setup and the extra form that appears under your user account.
Thanks for the feedback and do please let me know if (when) the fix works for you!

- Paul

sharique commentedThanks.
It works with same database as drupal database. But when it doesn't work with separate db.

paulbeaney commentedIs the separate database on the same server? If it is a remote server, you'll need to check the MySQL permissions are set to allow your phpList database user to access the database from your Drupal server.
If you are on the same MySQL server then I am afraid I am stumped, unless you have a tyopgraphics error in your phpList module settings (you are 100% sure the password/username etc. are all correct and that the password is set. There is no reason why you shouldn't be able to use a phpList database on any server on the internet!

sharique commentedBoth of db are on same server and share same username/ password .
For password error, it must show db connection error.

paulbeaney commentedSorry Sharique, I have no idea why it doesn' t work for you and without a lot more information on your installation I would be hard pushed to get to the bottom of it - your messages aren't the longest and most detailed I have ever seen ;)
Can I suggest you check out the updated massmailer project at http://drupal.org/node/216178 - you might find this works better and supports more features. If massmailer works as well in 5 as it did in 4.7 I am thinking of abandoning this module as I have no interest in maintaining a module when there is a better established alternative around. I have yet to try it myself yet though!
