I have uploaded image, saved node, then pressed edit and no image were attached. So I have uploaded second image and the first one appeared in node edit form. Only then I could delete first one or second image.

It seems like some kind of bug

I can't delete images at all from node. selected delete check box then submit - nothing. selected delete check box uploaded new image - nothing!

"Default image" function also not working!

i experienced the same. image was gone when editing the node...

Just installed and have the same problem in 2 different drupal sites.

It's not just the first image, all images disappear from the edit page making them impossible to delete.
