I would like to see the ability to automatically add token fields that are available to each node type. This would allow you to add any field of a cck node type to the keywords such as title, node-reference title, etc.

I think this is one of the biggest things this module is missing and would be a huge addition.

I agree. For me this feature would best rock on the taxonomy/term pages.

For example, you define the description meta tag as: 'Wan to know more about [cat]? Read more here!'
Ok... Not the best SEO tagline, but the principal is there. The only issue is known what scope to power up token_replace with...

Will be implemented in 6.x-2.x.

First thanks for the module, I've installed it on all my sites. It looks like you are giving me another reason to anxiously look forward to Drupal 6. Being able to include Tokens/CCK-fields in the Meta-Keywords is a feature that I look forward to.

Any chance that this will get backported to 5? See http://drupal.org/node/232208

I needed this as well so I submitted a patch to do it #263003: nodewords hook (easy entry point for token support in 1.x branch) as well as uploading a project that will work with this patch, hoping that this patch get its way thorugh the nodewords branch. The project is Meta Tags Node Type and I hope somebody else find it useful. It contains a patched version of nodewords module.

Token should be used even on taxonomy meta tags.

I am marking this report as duplicate of #508496: Support for tokens.
