Will there be a Drupal 6 version of imagecache? if so when is it likely to be available please

I'm waiting for this one as well. I guess it's not that simple, it has to wait for all other pieces to come together. Image API first. Then CCK, as its most common use is in (cck) image field, which leads us to third dependency.

+1 for me (I need it for Taxonomy_Image). Will 6.x be the 2.0 version?

Now that D6 is officially releases, the need for the Imagecache module is even bigger!

I'll get around to it after I release imagecache 2.x. Maybe you would like to test 2.x?

What would be the major hurdle in getting this going in D6? I might test it in 6 and see what happens...

No really I don't have time to work on a D6 upgrade right now. I believe Eaton has a patch for it in the queue. I'll try to review it.

I have several that I've already done, and can probably do one more, but I do have quite a few modules of my own to maintain. I was saying that less for you than for the others who seem to think module maintenance is trivial.
I assume you only want the 5.2 version upgraded.

Head has the D6 port at :pserver:anonymous@cvs.drupal.org:/cvs/drupal-contrib/.../imagecache, this saves the hassles in using mismatched patches
