Description
I just received a couple of coomplaints that users keep replying to the site email address.
At the moment I only seem to have 2 options:
1) configure the from address globally in the og settings to keep it coming from the site email (standard)
2) configure the from address globally in the og settings to keep it coming from the author's email address
Since I do not want to give the email address of the poster away and people keep being confused about option 1:
a solution would be to to configure different "from" addresses for each groups - which could go to the admin of the group for example.
Does this make sense?

#1
so you are willing to give away admin addresses but not user addresses?

Thanks for the quick remark.
I have to say that some of our group admins don't seem to mind. But then sometimes you have to protect your users from themselves. So the answer is: not quite.
I'd like the admin of a group to be able to configure a custom email address especially for the group's purposes. This custom address acts as the sender of all notification emails of the group.
So, basically, it can and should be different from the admin's private email addess (the one used in the group admins profile).
Simplenews implements a similiar feature: there's a default sender address, but you can override this address for each group of newsletters:
What do you think?
