How can you email all registered users in Drupal v5? Is there an equivalent to this module in v5?

There was just a discussion about this on the development mailing list. CiviMail seemed like it had the most followers, followed by Simplenews and E-Publish. If you expect to do a lot of communication you'll want to track, I'd also sway you towards CiviMail.
