Generation and display of menus is something every site has to deal with.
There are alot of modules for drupal to help with that task but it is not intuitiv to find them - A tag might help as a user searching for a specific menu related functionality could display only menu related modules.

Here is a list of modules related to the menu system (as the End user sees it):

At the moment these modules use tags like "Content display" "Taxonomy" "3rd party integration" "Utility" "Theme related" "Administration" however I think they have one thing in common and that is they are menus so "menu" or "menu related" term should be created and applyed to the modules.
The list is not perfect as it is only the result of a quick research and I couldn't review every module in detail.

Seems like a good module category to have. I'm just not sure "Menu" is the right name for it. Perhaps "Site navigation"? If we can find a name we all like, I'd be happy to add a category for this. Cheers, -Derek.

'Site navigation' sounds good to me. This would cover 'menu-like' modules as well.

Yes, I think breadcrumbs are part of "Site navigation", which seems like another good reason to use that name... @oadaeh: Do you have a list of breadcrumb-related modules for consideration here?

I actually do not have a list of modules that would be considered breadcrumb related. It was something that jumped to my mind when I read catch's comment.

Ok, sounds like that name is a winner.

I'll give this another day in case any site admins have any objections or other suggestions. After that, I'll make the category.

I got all of the modules from the original post except these two, which don't exist:

I also added http://drupal.org/project/activemenu

If anyone finds others that belong here, please just create an issue in that module's queue to have the maintainer add themselves.
