I'm not sure if this is a feature request or a bug, but, Profile Plus DOES NOT search custom profile fields. I have the Drupal Profile module enabled in Drupal 5.5 and have added a custom text field to the profile.

I've updated the search index (by forcing a cron to run) and the new 'User profiles' tab does not successfully search this custom field. It would be great if Profile Plus could search custom fields (as I think is advertised by the module).

I realize this is an ancient issue, but here goes anyway. If a user has not logged in (even if you fill out the fields for them), they won't show up in the search results. So check that first. Other than that, the module works fine. Setting this to fixed. Reopen if you still have problems.
