I've just started playing with the January version on my test machine and it looks like a GREAT advance!

Can you give us any indication of how long until there's an official 2.0 release?

Thanks!

Well I'm currently just ironing out a few minor bugs... But I THINK we're pretty close to a release... In fact, checking the issue queue I believe there is only 1 remaining issue...

That patch solves the problem of the Page Title for node's not being aware of the node context - ie, it wasn't picking up any tokens from the node such as author or term name.

If this answers your question, can you please set the status to 'fixed'. If not, please reply back and I'll try to answer asap.

Cheers, btw I release ALPHA5 yesterday, might be worth a look if you're interested in testing. Its pretty stable now I think.

Hi, I'm really interested in this module, but I'm not sure which version to use? Reading the above, it seems quite stable, but the warning on the module page ("use with extreme caution") makes me somewhat hesitant. Should I go for Alpha5 or wait a couple more days?

And obviously: thanks for writing this great seo module. Especially the version two features are what I was looking for!

Well, Version 2 is currently in use on PPOnline.co.uk and a few other sites.

I've personally tested it - but I cant test everything (testing is not my strong point).

If you use Tokens already, you can give Page Title 2 a go. Any issues you get can and will be fixed and go towards the final release.

Page Title 2 SHOULDN'T catastrophically break anything - however if it does:
a) I'm sorry in advance
b) Thats what happens when you use in-development software on a live server ;-) hehe

But seriously - I know of nothing in it which is still broken.
