Its not a duplicate [#226016]

I have tried disabling/removing and then re adding both pathauto and xml sitemap. I tried setting weight module to 1 with everything else as 0, manually ran cron several times. . . nothing seems to work. My sitemap is at http://www.yourautorights.com/sitemap.xml. I would appreciate any detailed help I could get. Thank you in advance for your time and attention.

Seems I can only get alias URLs to show in xml sitemap if I go to each individual page and resubmit or resend each page. Is this the way to do this or should I be doing something else? thank you.

I'm having the same trouble. I found some discussion about this at http://drupal.org/node/143994, but I'm not sure that everything applies to XMLsitemap module.

I found the node/xxx in the sitemap today, and I think it was working (using aliases) yesterday.

yes, same problem for me too. this is a serious issue. i am afraid that google might classify the alias URl as duplicated and dump that into secondary cache in favor of node/wxyz url. i dont want google search to return something like node/ . I never thought that basic things like this will go wrong. i even submitted the sitemap to google webmaster tool and later hurried to remove it before google crawls the node/ type URLs. Here is the site http://www.pressreleasepoint.com/ i have disabled sitemap untill the issue is fixed. i tried to change the code but it is too complex to find the right place to effect this change.

When we tested a sample of the URLs from your Sitemap, we found that some URLs were not accessible to Googlebot because they contained too many redirects. Please change the URLs in your Sitemap that redirect and replace them with the destination URL (the redirect target). All valid URLs will still be submitted.
