Description

Hi,

In permissions I have disabled editing of trackback settings for normal users (administer trackbacks), but the trackback-settings-box still shows, when I create a new blog node with a normal user.

Thanks for a great module :-)

It is a legal behavior ;-)

the 'administer trackbacks' permission allows administrators to publish(unpublish and delete) trackbacks on the site. the trackback-settings-box will be used by normal user for enabling node to receive trackbacks.

I would like to request this as a new feature:

I would like to hide this option from my normal users:

- they should not be allowed to overrule my preferences for the site
- most of the normal users don't know what trackbacks are (they just click on the links), thus less user friendly (the option-box is expanded by default)

thanks :-)
