okay, i've got bueditor running on a d6.1 install - works great, pulled out a few buttons etc - only thing i've noticed is that the tags for header are not working (being ignored) - must each one be added to input filter to allow it? (e.g. add

this thing is really simple, wonderful - thank you for doing it, and for bringing it to drupal 6...

..duh...just need to remind users that when they drop in BUEditor and leave all default buttons set up, IF they have the input filter set to "filtered html" then they will need to go to input configuration and allow tags for H1, 2 3 and 4 to get that particular button to actually work...

Thanks for testing.
I added a notice about input formats to the Readme file.
I didn't have the opportunity to test bueditor on mac or linux browsers. Any feedback or bug report would be much appreciated for these environments.

i can confirm that this is working very well in both FF and Safari3 on Mac - though i'm also using a trimmed version (i use img filter for images to give advanced placement control, so disabled the image link in bueditor because i don't want people throwing up arbitrary calls to external pages - want them to only use uploaded items in this installation)

this is a GREAT module - have tried and tested all the wysiwig stuff, and all i wanted was simple bold, italic, numbered and bulleted lists - that's it. this works perfectly and i can give myself (admin) a full bar for use - it is VERY fast, and because it loads in most pages (as comments are in the node, not separate page) that matters big time ;)
