Is www.sugarloving.com based on drupal or pligg or anything else?
Do sugarloving.com and teamsugar.com have single sign on?

Thanks. How did you find out? and also did they develop their own pligg-like module?

Take a look at the source code.

<style type="text/css" media="all">@import "/misc/drupal.css";</style>

maybe they will not release the digg-like module they developed.
the biggest problem (not drupal's problem) with drupal is that few people are good at programming. that's why few people can make their websites professional (most drupal based websites are just like a 1 year old baby's works of art).
my suggestion: learn php and do it by yourself.

Nonsense.

The necessary modules are downloadable from this site.

Actually many new Drupal sites look clean and professional. Simple is key. It just depends on how the admin wants their site to look like.
