Is there a plan to backport the last changes of the HEAD in the DRUPAL--5 branch ?
As the title says, I am particuarly interestead in the 1.74 revision of the simplenews.module file which allow CCK integration.

Thanks for all the recent dev, it is very exciting !

Backport of this functionality should be possible, but I make no promises on other new features. I change the title accordingly.
Conversion to Drupal 6 turns out to be a lot of work. Any help is very welcome. If you can please make a patch to backport the CCK related changes. If I remember correctly moving existing code into hook_form_alter was the biggest part of the work.

I cannot help for the Drupal6 conversion (we haven't started to work on D6 yet) but I will ask one of our dev to backport the CCK integration and we will submit the patch.
