My default language is set to Swedish and the only other language is English.

For logged in users using Swedish the menu item for My Account is added to the navigation menu (Mitt konto), however, if you switch to English the link disappears.

Even if I hard code a new menu item to ANY menu with the path of "user" it will not appear in the English version of the site.

Any one got any idea why this might be? Driving me a bit nuts, I haven't tried hard coding it into the template but that is the next step as we really need this working asap, but I really don't want that as we use Simple Menu and it would be nice for it to appear in that (which is not the issue, it does not matter if I use Simple Menu or not, the My Account menu item just refuses to appear in the Eng version).
