Is there anyway to allow the job seeker to receive a message when their submitted application has been viewed by a job company?
(Perhaps this can be achieved in conjunction with another module)

This does not exist, so changing to a feature request.

Bumping this issue, even a notification email for resume SENT would be a nice addition.

I am making this more generic.

Would be great to have the following:

- Notify the job seeker that the application has been viewed

- Allow the recruiter/employer to notify the job seeker when application has been selected for consideration (hopefully with a custom message about a future interview, asking the job seeker for more info, ..etc.)

- Allow the recruiter/employer to notify the job seeker when application has been selected was rejected

All this does not mean that I will work on this soon, but capturing the info here in case someone wants to submit a patch for it, or sponsor the work on it.

Coming from #316996: Showing status of Application to Job Seeker, there was also a request for:

When the employer accepts the Application he will be redirected to the Contact of Applicant where he can just write to applicant.
