hi,
i want to have a series of forums active on my site

I have set up the containers and then the various different forums and topics.
What I want to do is set permissions differently for different forums.
for example I want registered users to see all forums but I wish visitors to only see a few of them.

how can i do this please?

from what i can see is I can set permissions to be able to access all or nothing.

you may wish to look at the forum access module...not sure how far along they are with the port to d6.
