Do simplenews nodes get indexed? On a website I'm working on right now we are using simplenews and views for the news page so the users can post news items and have them email out to everyone as well as have a news page on the site. The problem is that none of the news items are being indexed by the drupal search system. Is this by design? If so, how can I disable it?

This may be by design, but not by intention. I need to investigate this.

On a clean install the newsletter content _is_ searched (and found).
Please describe all steps (starting with a clean install) to reproduce the problem.

Without any more details this is very hard to investigate.
I mark this won't fix not because I don't want to, but I can not.

Feel free to re-open this issue if you can supply more information on the problem
