Description
Hello. I have tested the development version and it is working great. One feature request would be to move the "Save this node as a draft" checkbox to the publishhing options. From a user perspective, it makes the most sense to be down there with the "published," "promote to front page" etc. publishing options.
thanks and really like this module!

I agree

I've submitted this to the CVS, and will be included in the next release.

Noooo!!!!!! I think?
Right now, the only way to let a user submit an unpublished node is to give him the "administer nodes" permission. That's way too much permission to give users who you only want to be able to save their nodes as drafts.
Enter the "Save as Draft" module, which only requires the "Save as Draft" permission. If you put it into "Publishing Options", will it then require the "administer nodes" permission?

You are right, and I agree with you regarding this. I'm going to leave this as active in case there are others who wish to join the discussion.
Suffice it to say, if no one else chimes in I will revert to the previous version and move the "save as draft" option back out of the publishing options, before the next release.

My way around this is to use http://drupal.org/project/override_node_options
Seeing as this issue is so old I'm closing due to linked module.
