...results in the second event being listed the day before (ie, 2 events on thurdays, one is input and works fine - coming out on thursday every week, but the second event starts on a thursday but future weeks it is on a wednesday?

Strange, but any help would be very much appreciated.

Are all repeating events one day off after the first? If so, it's probably related to http://drupal.org/node/247663
