Can you clarify what you mean by "footnotes" exactly? Where is the text for the footnotes set?

It's a nice idea, but there's no documentation explaining how to integrate the fotonotes module with other modules, and it's not clear from the code. Re-assigning to the fotonotes issue queue so they can provide more details on how this may be possible.
Fotonotes maintainer: the lightbox2 module displays images in a lightbox (overlayed div) when the user clicks on the corresponding thumbnail image. If there are fotonotes associated with the image, it would be nice if we could also display them in the lightbox. We don't need the add / edit / delete fotonotes abilities, we just want to display them when the mouse hovers over the image. Is there any way of doing this that you know of?
