Would it be possible to include an option to only have this effect certain menu's. I only want this for admin purposes but not for a typical user.

brmassa commentedspankteal,
YES! each block can be configured to use or not the DHTML effect. On installing the module, we set all menu-blocks as DHTML to minimize the admins work. but you can disable each one of them.

massa

bryan.scott commentedAny idea how to configure / disable on menu blocks? I had a bit of a look around and could not see how to. Do I need to modify in sql?
borfast commentedI would also like to know how to achieve this.
It should be rather simple but I don't see an option for this anywhere.
daniorama commentedDHTML destroy the functionality of many custom menus and navbars... Please, if it's so easy, explain us how. I've reviewed the code and it seems this option is not implemented, but maybe I'm wrong. Any info? Thanks

cburschkaSorry, brmassa was misinformed about the new version.
You are right, the new version does not include the option to fine-tune this. The reason is that when I came up with the entirely new concept used in this version, I identified the ability to fine-tune settings as a very complex feature to implement. I was not aware that this feature saw significant use, so I did not include it.
I'll check again to see how the feature can be implemented.

daniorama commentedArancaytar, thanks for answering. Could you please tell us which was the last code implementing it? (the last code from brmassa) If this feature would be hard to implement, could you also tell us how could we hard code disabling a block (for example in the template)?
There are also some features you should consider:
http://drupal.org/node/311248
http://drupal.org/node/117370
http://drupal.org/node/273785
D6 is still "awakening", shouldn't be the first version to gain new features? I understand why D5 is not getting them, I mean sooner or later people will have to upgrade, D5 was a very long revision, and I'm sure before the end of this year D6 will have nearly all the D5 modules and themes ported.
But who is using D7, maybe 1-5% of the Drupal community? I mean, if so many things are still not ready for D6, why not concentrate on it and letting D7 module when there is an stable version of D6 with the main features that a lot of people are asking for? The number of potential users who could help to find bugs or helping with developing is far smaller in D7.
Please, lets try to not convert D6 in a sort of Windows Vista... :D

daniorama commentedI've been trying many things and I'm sorry to say that I entirely recommend to downgrade to the 6.x-2.2 to have this feature, on that version you can find the option in the configuration page of each block (and also this version enables bullets and fix some issues with Tabs in Zen theme).
The 3 version has better code and fix some issues with quicktabs, but right now has some problems and needs a bit more work. The 2.2 is more complete. Hope to see these features in version 3. Thanks!
