slinc commentedI have to agree, most sites still use Drupal 5, it'd be greatly appreciated if a Drupal 5 Release is still maintained.
Thank you for your help!

NickLitten commentedI run 11 sites using Drupal and have now migrated all but 2 of them upto Version 6 which definitely runs slightly quicker and has some neat functions... I *hate* the fact that i cant use Acidfree on my personal website which I recently migrated to V6 and had to use Brilliant Gallery (which is an OK picture gallery).
Support the old V5 for sure.... but *please* give us a V6 Acidfree... ;)
/me puts some money behind the bar for some beers

Gabriel R. commentedI have all my sites on 5.x and only use 5.x for new clients as well.
Please don't give up on us :-)

nancydruFolks, one possible solution is for someone to offer to help Vernon by being the 5.x maintainer so he can concentrate on 6.x.
Gabriel R. commentedI'd rather pay Vernon to stick to 5.x :-)
nancydruWell, I have a site on 5.x that I'd like to upgrade.
slinc commentedLet's stick to 5.x for now, maybe we can start 6.x once 5.x has a full, stable version.
Anyways, I'm looking for an video gallery module, similar to the image gallery module, but displays videos, uploaded to YOUTUBE or another file sharing site, but embeds it in galleries.
Is there anything that can do that?

HansBKK commented+1 for D5
It'll be a long time before most significant sites can upgrade to D6, exactly because it takes so long for the contrib modules to catch up or new ones to develop equivalent functionality/stability.
Playing around and learning D6 all the way. Production sites with uncertain future needs (all my customers :) D5!
I figure I'll start thinking about upgrading to D6 when D7 core is stable. . .
I make a distinction between "DrupALL" and core Drupal - http://drupal.org/node/264495
