jrglasgow commentedI've been thinking about it, maybe after I get back from vacation next week. Unless someone else would like to take it on.

davedelong commentedI'm working on a simple D5 site and need search_files for D5, so I'm backporting it. It hasn't been too hard. I'm testing it now.

jrglasgow commentedwhen you are finished with it I would be more then glad to commit it to CVS and make a release.

jrglasgow commentedelpepeuy,
Please refer to http://drupal.org/node/59 . Follow the instructions by creating a new issue for Search Files requesting to be made a co-maintainer, one I agree in a comment on the issue you can apply for CVS access referencing the issue and my agreement. Once you have CVS access, add a comment to the issue stating that you have access and I will add you to the project.

AjK commentedelpepeuy's CVS account approved and also added to the project (jrglasgow, thought I'd save you the time :)

hoggo commentedHow did you go with your port of search files to 5.x? I really need this functionality on our website so am desperately keen to try it if you have anything!

jthorson commentedCheck out http://drupal.org/node/285834 ... I knew it was here somewhere, since I had it installed on another server - but it was a real pain in the butt to find.
Any chance we could get this load cleaned up and added to the "available versions" on the project page?

jrglasgow commentedAt this point, I have had no time to even consider porting this module to Drupal 5, the site that I was originally going to port it to D5 for is currently going towards D6 in the next 2 weeks.
There has been some work on the the D5 branch, enough that there is a 5.x release. I have never worked on the 5.x branch, nor have I tested it. If someone feels the need to contribute work on the 5.x branch that is fine with me.
I has been suggested to me that I stop support for all 5.x branches of my modules, you have noticed that I have not. Mostly because I have never offered any support for 5.x on this module.
Any feature requests for the 5.x branch can be made, but I probably won't do anything with them. Some one else might however.
