I have noticed that if you upload a jpeg saved with a CMYK colour mode/profile then IMCE will upload it sucessfully - but is then unable to display the image within its image browser (the empty image box appears with an image icon for a split-second, then when the image has loaded it vanishes) - and you therefore cannot insert that image anywhere!

Not a biggie obviously - probably a pretty rare case - but it did take me quite a while to figure out why some of the images our client sent would upload fine, and others would cause this bug!
