We created a CiviCRM Profile compromised of custom data fields to be used at the time of user registration in Drupal. All worked correctly, except trying to edit the data after a user had registered. If a user attempted to return to his or her profile and edit the CiviCRM custom data, the data was gone ... completely disappeared. What a user would see under the "Edit" tab for his or her profile would be two secondary tabs, one for "Account settings" and the second for "Personal Information" (the CiviCRM data).

The information on the "Account settings" tab was fine, but when the user clicked on the "Personal Information" there was absolutely nothing to be found. After researching this thoroughly, we found the Profile Privacy module was causing all the custom CiviCRM data fields to be removed.

We are running Drupal 5.7, CiviCRM 1.9, MySQL 5.045, PHP 5.2.3 and Apache 2.2.4.

I'd love to help but this is outside of the degree to which I'm using profile privacy. If I have an opportunity to setup CiviCRM and all I'll debug, as it stands I'll have to rely on the community to correct this. It'd be good to get an update if this is still an issue with latest profile privacy and Civi though.

If this is still an important issue with current versions of CiviCRM and the Module feel free to re-open and change it to the 6.x que
