Using Drupal 5.7, Image Assist 1.6, Image 1.8 via WAMP.

For a Story, IA generates the inline text for the log body, but does nothing for the text body. I copied the inline text from the log to text body and the image shows, so it's working, pretty much.

When I try and add an image to the body, the popup window blanks out and just remains open - it does not close like it does normally.

I checked the issues list and enabled the input filter and image sizes of the images I'm adding are within limits.

Any suggestions? The upload portion of IA works fine. Thanks in advance.

More info: The above problem is "resolved" when I use FF 2.0, but occurs using IE 6.0.

Sorry, since this is working on your 2 other sites, and IE6 is pretty out-dated, there must be a conflict with another module, which screws up IE6.
