This should be a pretty straightforward port. I'm not needing the module nor does this module have very high usage. I'll try to port it within the next month. Patches to port it will gladly be accepted also. Thanks.

Needs more testing but no problems after a couple quick field tests.

Applies against DRUPAL-5 branch since its had the most recent commit.

I took out profile_privacy_legacy_update() entirely.
