best modules for a drupal install

search on google for "top drupal modules"... you'll find lots of good modules :) i think the most essential module is probably CCK...

IMHO, CCK followed by views are the top tier modules. CCK allows you to make your own node type while views allow you to customize/filter your node outputs.
