I just installed Fivestar and I do like it. The only problem is that Konqueror crashes as soon as I enter a page instrumented with Fivestar (no problem with Opera and Firefox). I am running Konqueror 3.5.8-1.fc6 Red Hat (Using KDE 3.5.8-1.fc6 Fedora). The problem occurs only when accessing the page as authenticated user. Excerpt from backtrace follows. Thank you.

Running Konqueror 3.5.5 on KDE.

Konqueror really isn't a supported browser by jQuery. Just try running the unit tests at http://jquery.com/test/ in Konqueror. So I won't personally make the effort to consistently check for Konqueror bugs when making changes in Fivestar. However, I'll gladly accept patches that make Fivestar more compatible.
