On the Manage questions tab, there is a checkbox New revision. When submit that form by pressing Submit questions, a new revision of the quiz is created, even if the New revision checkbox is not checked.

the new revision checkbox does not do anything at this time.

Confirmed in 5.x-2.0-rc1.

The "new revisions" checkbox has been removed from display (is that 'fixed'?). Right now, new revisions are always created.
If there is significant interest in having this feature enabled (so that new revisions will NOT be created) then I will add this in the feature set for Quiz 3.0.

While fixing another bug, I figured out why this wasn't working. I have re-enabled the "new revisions" feature.
This will be available in 6.x-2.0 Beta 1 (and is already available in the dev build)
