The main page on configuring Listhandler for Drupal is outdated and targets Drupal 4.7: http://drupal.org/node/40777 .
Attached is a HTML-ized version of the README.txt file in the Listhandler CVS respository which targets the latest 5.x developments. I have put it into a Book node on my test site with success and I'm pleased with the formatting and results.
Question: Which input filter is applied to Book pages? I use the BR tag to aid readability and the default Filtered HTML filter, filters that out :-( .
I (now) realise that the page is a bit long. The "Introduction" section could be merged with http://drupal.org/handbook/modules/listhandler . The "Testing and troubleshooting" and "Extended use" sections could be split into additional pages.
Do you have any issues with the content and/or formatting used?
What is the best way for myself to take on maintainership of the Listhandler handbook pages?
Thanks.
Phil L.

zirvap commentedThe text looks fine to me. (Note: I've only read the text, not tried the configuration steps you describe.) Very clear and understandable instructions!
A a couple of comments:
I suggest you add links to the other contrib modules you mention (Mailhandler and Comment upload)
I found a minor typo/capitalization error: "Enable the Upload module, Download and enable the Comment Upload module" => "Download" should be "download"
Join the doc team, that gives you access to all (or almost all) handbook pages, including these.
