Hi! I'm a new Google Summer of Code student and am hoping my drupal blog feed can be added to Drupal planet. Here's the URL:
http://kyle.mathews2000.com/category/drupal
I'd prefer my feed title to just be my name -- "Kyle Mathews"
Thanks so much!

kyle_mathews commentedHas anybody looked at this issue yet? I have some upcoming blog posts that I'd love if they reach the wider Drupal audience. I'd much appreciate someone's help to add my blog feed to Planet Drupal.
Thanks again.

aclight commentedNope, I believe Drupal planet issues belong in the webmasters queue.
Some possible reasons you're not getting any responses:
1. The title is not very descriptive.
2. You don't provide a link to the actual RSS feed, only to the term itself.
3. Glancing at the list of posts you've tagged with the Drupal term, it seems that some of them are only tangentially related to Drupal. I know this isn't always the case, but I believe that a term like "Drupal planet" is preferred to just "Drupal", since there could be posts you'd want to make the are related to Drupal but aren't important enough to want to have show up on 16,000 people's feeds.

On the third point, I've been subscribed to Planet Drupal for awhile now so now how annoying off-topic posts can be. I've created a "DrupalPlanet" term which the above feed links to. There's no posts yet for that term btw.
On changing the title for my blog's feed -- I did a quick look at Planet Drupal and it seems the majority of feeds are just the names of the blog author or company ("Addison Berry", "Aquia", "Joshua Brauer", "Russell Uman", etc). I work with Drupal in a number of different areas (Memetracking, education, ecommerce, etc) so I don't see a reason for making my title more descriptive or how to make a succinct title that covers the different areas that I'll write about. Or is the "title" different than what I'm seeing on http://drupal.org/planet?

aclight commentedThe link you gave to your feed in #4 gives a 404 page not found error.
Maybe that's just because you don't have any posts yet with that term. Go ahead and make a post so we can at least make sure the URL we're adding to the planet is valid and all.
As for the title, I meant that the title of this issue is not descriptive, not the title of your feed itself.
If we can confirm that you've given the right URL for the feed I can go ahead and add you to the planet.
