It would be great to be able to create a slideshow using the tag and user_id instead of the set id. Or maybe create a node including all the images from a certain user and tag.

Such as: http://www.flickr.com/slideShow/index.gne?user_id=xxxxxxxx@N00&tags=thetagtoshowup

I have multiple sites which would benefit from inclusion of images from any user with a particular tag. So, this request but instead of "user and tag" it would be nice to have "user and/or tag".

I have been searching for hours trying to find out how to use combine tagged content from Flickr with matching taxonomy from Drupal.
How else would people want to show images in their website? I do not find the recent or random photos at all useful.

Issue http://drupal.org/node/124403 (which I have been referred to on numerous occasions) acts like it will help out with this useful functionality, but falls short.

I cannot believe there are no solutions to this type of integration. Is anyone making use of Flickr Tags within a Drupal site?

i also have been looking for Flickr tags. I need to display photos with specific tags. I've been unsuccessful finding anything in Drupal that does this.

It would be great to be able to create a slideshow using the tag and user_id instead of the set id.

Fixed in D7 for the user_id in https://drupal.org/comment/8664275#comment-8664275. It seems currently not possible to show an embedded Flickr slideshow based on tags. E.g. https://www.flickr.com/photos/98518260@N02/show uses the slideshow, but https://www.flickr.com/photos/98518260@N02/tags/people/show doesn't.

For D6 we still need the patches in the related issues being ported.
