I updated to Panels 5.0-2.0-beta4a today only to find that both the All About User and Guestbook sections of the profiles page no longer display. No error displayed either. Might be something they changed, but I don't think it should be too hard to fix. For those of you who had this happen to them as well downgrading back to 5.0-2.0-beta3 seems to have worked for now.

The changes in Panels from beta3 to beta4b have caused the default Guestbook mini-panel in advprofile_panels.inc to no longer work. In the interim, it is easy enough to build the same Guestbook mini-panel on your own and add it to the user profile panel page.
