I've created 2 events, one on Wednesday evening and 1 one on Friday evening. The first date of the repeating event was correct in each case, the following ones we're all 1 day early. (on Tuesday and Thursday)

went back to 5.x-v1.0 and that works fine...

I have the same problem - on a new clean install. The same solution worked for me - reverting to 1.0.

Very strangely, the first event I created worked correctly, the second and subsequent showed the problem. Reverting to 1.0 I have not had a problem yet.

I too am able to replicate the problem. I will be reverting to 1.0, hopefully that fixes it for now.
