Hi,

- I have configured my user id under q=admin/settings/flickr to "92363008@N00"
- I added the 'Flickr recent photosets' block to the right area with no user id specified
- I added the 'Flickr recent photos' block to the header, again with no user id specified

I'm getting the following errors:

* Flickr error 1: User not found
* Flickr error 1: User not found
* Flickr error 3: Parameterless searches have been disabled. Please use flickr.photos.getRecent instead.

Have I done something wrong?

Thanks in advance.

Title: Flickr error 1: user not found » Flickr block error messages

After adding and removing blocks it seems that
- 'Flickr recent photos' block generates the "Flickr error 3: Parameterless searches have been disabled. Please use flickr.photos.getRecent instead." message
- 'Flickr recent photosets' generates both the "Flickr error 1: User not found" messages.

Cheers,
Chris

I continue to have the same problem. I have my 'Default Flickr User Id:' set to '23443225@N07', with the block 'Flickr user page recent photos' running. I get the following error message:
Flickr error 3: Parameterless searches have been disabled. Please use flickr.photos.getRecent instead.

Could it be a problem with the API key or secret?

I have the same problem, but only when I try to use the block 'Recent photos'.
Checked all my settings, they seem ok

I ran into the same problem at first. The first thing to check is to make sure you have the correct user id setup... You can get this by right clicking on an image and looking at the URL. It should look something like the post that ryanoff left '23443225@N07'. Secondly, I went into the flickr site configuration under administration and made sure it was the default user. This still didn't correct the problem. Finally, I when I setup the block - I configured it to override the existing user with the same username. That corrected the issue. Not sure what the bug is, but that might correct your issues.

Thanks a bunch. Configuring the block itself, that is entering the user Flickr id, worked for me.

There is a patch by me higher up the queue that is going to resolve these issues .
