Well the utilities for importing from Wordpress do not seem to work for 6.x. So I exported the blog entries from wordpress into an xml file. Is there a way to enter them into a drupal site?

You could start here Wordpress 2.5 to Drupal 5.x and 6.x utility program.

thanks, but I didn't update the blog to 2.5 yet, I suppose I could.
Will this do the entire site? I just want the blog entries since I have changed the theme, etc.

There is also a Wordpress 2.0 / 2.2 version to Drupal 5.x. Check here for details. In relation to this version, I'm not updating it as active development is taking place with the Wordpress 2.5 to Drupal 5.x / 6.x version.

You could upgrade your Wordpress blog to 2.5 and then convert.
