Fatal error: Call to undefined function timezone_identifiers_list() in /var/www/html/sites/all/modules/date/date_api.module on line 413

I get this error whenever I click on the following Drupal error / warning: "The Date Timezone module requires you to set the site timezone name."

I was getting the same error, so I enabled PHP 5.2 on my server, since was already installed, by adding this line on .htaccess file

AddHandler application/x-httpd-php5 .php

You must either be running PHP 5.2 or enable the Date PHP4 module.
