I am using the build from May 31st. I have configured the content taxonomy to save as tags only, with the entire lineage. Submiting the form saves the appropriate values in the term_node table and appears appropriately when the node is viewed. However, if you go back and edit the node, the values selected are not displayed in the heirarchical select edit options.

Very odd, but sounds like a bug indeed. Please post your config, which will help in tracking the cause. Also: are you using multiple parents in your vocabulary?

This seems to be resolved with the June 3 build. I will test and confirm.
