I hope that this is the right place to report this problem.
I have spent quite a long time trying to figure this out but without luck.
I created Taxonomy definitions to categorize forums and events as private and public. However when I attempted to use the Forum Block on a page it displayed every forum topic (public and private) and even included all events (?). I eventually had to remove the block from my site and add links in the menu. The links worked correctly and only displayed the correct topics.
I'm a relative newbie to Drupal so I may not have provided sufficient information here. Let me know what I have left out.

jbrauer commentedHi and Welcome to Drupal. Is this related to the Forum Thread module (an add-on module)? If not you might be looking for the "Forum" module which is part of the "Drupal" project. Also if you're uncertain whether this is a configuration problem or an actual bug it might be best to put it in as a support request.

jbrauer commentedClosing with a lack of follow-up.

Patricia_W commentedSorry for lack of followup ... I keep expecting to get an eMail when there is a reply to my posts.
I was attempting to use the Forum module. I was not aware of the Forum Thread module.
How do I select the correct project for the Forum module? I've selected Drupal Hub but that is probably not what you meant.

jbrauer commentedmoving to the Forum queue.

ainigma32 commentedIf I understand correctly this is an issue between the Taxonomy Acces Control module and the Forum module. See also your forum post http://drupal.org/node/265117
Since the 6.x version of TAC is not a stable release I am inclined to think that the problem is somewhere in TAC and not in the forum module. Reassigning this issue to the TAC issue queue.
Feel free to change that if you think that is wrong.
